Picard was founded in 1928 by Martin Picard and his sons Edmund and Alois Picard in Obertshausen. In 1935, brothers began making bags in large series. Leitidee was the idea of consistently high quality at affordable prices. With Georg Picard, the 4th generation the responsible management of the family business. Today, Picard has other offices in Tunisia, China and Bangladesh next to Germany, and produces high-quality bags and accessories for men and women.
